Group travel, reimagined

The group trip that’s
more fun, less stress.

Plan it together. Pay over time. Nobody fronts, nobody flakes.

WeeGo is the group travel app that takes the messy, expensive, stressful parts of a group trip and makes them simple. The money splits into easy installments held safe until you go, the plan comes together by vote, and the entire crew gets to focus on the fun: where you’ll go, what you’ll do, and the countdown to the trip.

The group trip problem

Getting everyone there shouldn’t be the hardest part.

Great trips die in the group chat. Here’s where they usually go sideways.

Someone always fronts the cash.

One person floats the deposit, books the stay, and then spends weeks chasing everyone else to pay them back.

52% of travelers have fronted $500 or more of someone else’s trip costs.

The plan lives in five chats.

Polls in one app, receipts in another, the itinerary in someone’s head. Nobody’s sure what’s been decided.

It takes 83 messages, 19 hours, and 11 days to plan the average group trip.

Plans fall apart before they start.

With no commitment and no shared skin in the game, the maybe-trip quietly fizzles and everyone stays home.

76% of group trips never make it out of the group chat.

WeeGo puts the money, the plan, and the group in one place.

WeeGo AI

Plan it together, with a little help.

Tell WeeGo AI the vibe and the budget. It drafts a first itinerary in seconds, then the crew tweaks it by vote.

Give back as you go.

Round up your payments to support the places you visit. Small change on every trip adds up to real good.

Made for real budgets

Big trips, small payments.

The dream trip usually stalls on one scary number up front. WeeGo Pay breaks it into a few small payments you barely notice, so just about anyone can say yes and make the trip.

Introducing WeeGo Pay

Pay for the trip a little at a time.

Everyone chips in their share in easy installments, held safe until the vendor gets paid. WeeGo pays the vendor from the group’s own money: a deposit to lock the booking, then the balance before you go. The organizer never fronts the trip, WeeGo never lends a dime, and nobody chases anybody.

In case you were wondering

Questions, answered.

What is WeeGo Trips?

WeeGo is a group travel app for planning a trip together, voting on the details, splitting the cost into easy installments held safe until you go, and giving back to the places you visit.

Is the WeeGo group travel app available yet?

A clickable prototype is live now, and the full app is on the way. Join the traveler waitlist to get early access the moment it opens.

How does paying over time work?

With WeeGo Pay, each person’s share is split into installments held safe until the trip. Everyone has their own payment profile and only pays for the parts they join, so no one covers events they can’t or don’t attend, and no one has to front the entire cost.

Is it free to join?

Yes. Joining the traveler waitlist and the vendor waitlist is completely free while we build.

How does the group make decisions?

Everyone votes on dates, stays, and plans. Choose Democracy for group consensus or Dictatorship when someone just needs to make the call. WeeGo AI can also draft a first itinerary from your vibe and budget.

What does “give back” mean?

WeeGo lets you round up your payments to support the destinations you visit, so every trip does a little good. That is the WeeGo promise: Go Together, Give Back.

How is WeeGo different from Venmo or a spreadsheet?

Venmo settles up after someone has already paid, and a spreadsheet only tracks who owes what. WeeGo collects each person’s share in installments before the trip, holds it safe, and pays the vendor from those funds, so the organizer never fronts the booking and the plan can’t collapse over money.

Who is WeeGo for?

Any group planning a trip together: friend getaways, family reunions, bachelor and bachelorette parties, ski weekends, and milestone birthdays. If one person usually fronts the cost and chases everyone else, WeeGo was built for your crew.

Why do group trips fall apart?

Three reasons come up again and again: nobody wants to front the money, the plan gets scattered across group chats, and there’s no real commitment until someone pays. 76% of group trips never make it out of the group chat, and most travelers say they’ve absorbed more than their share just to avoid a money fight. WeeGo fixes all three by putting the plan, the vote, and the money in one place, with each share paid in installments and held safe until you go.

Does WeeGo front the money?

No. WeeGo never lends or advances anything. Each traveler pays their own share in installments, the money is held safe, and WeeGo pays the vendor from those funds: a deposit up front to lock the booking, then the balance before the trip. The organizer’s card stays out of it, and so does ours.
